Common questions
- Is the scanner app really free?
- Yes — the Loyalty iCard Scanner app is free to download and free to use for any business with an active Loyalty iCard plan. No per-scanner or per-staff fees.
- Do I need an Android version?
- An Android version is on our roadmap. In the meantime, the iOS app runs on any iPhone from 2018 onwards, including older devices customers may already own.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. Scans are queued locally if your venue loses Wi-Fi or cellular, and sync automatically the moment connectivity is restored. Customers always see their stamps applied.
- Can I have multiple scanners running at the same location?
- Yes — unlimited. Add as many iPhones as your business needs. Every scanner logs which staff member used it, so you get per-scanner analytics in the dashboard.
- How are fake or duplicate scans prevented?
- Every customer wallet pass uses a cryptographically signed QR code unique to that customer and your business. The scanner rejects any signature mismatch, screenshot replay, or unrelated QR.
