Introducing the Loyalty iCard Scanner App — Free on iOS

Today we're launching the Loyalty iCard Scanner — a free iOS app that turns any business iPhone into a loyalty card validator. It's available now on the App Store and included with every paid plan.

Why we built this

Most loyalty platforms force you to buy a tablet, plug in a USB barcode reader, or run a clunky kiosk web page that breaks the moment Wi-Fi drops. Our customers told us, repeatedly, that their staff already had a phone in their pocket — and they just wanted to scan a customer's wallet card with it.

So we built the simplest tool that could do exactly that, and only that.

What it does

Open the app, sign in with a staff PIN, and point the camera at the QR code on a customer's Apple or Google Wallet pass. The app validates the cryptographic signature, applies the action (stamp, points, redemption), and updates the customer's pass on their lock screen in real time. The whole interaction takes under three seconds.

Offline-first by design

Loyalty redemptions happen at the counter, often in places with patchy Wi-Fi. The scanner queues every scan locally. The moment you're back online — even an hour later — every queued scan syncs to the dashboard. Customers never see a "please try again" error and you never lose a stamp.

Unlimited scanners

Every paid Loyalty iCard plan gets unlimited scanners. Add a phone for the front counter, one for the back office, one for the manager on the floor, one for each location — no per-seat fees, no caps. Per-scanner analytics show you exactly which device, which staff PIN, and which location drove each redemption.

Tamper-proof QR codes

Every customer pass carries a QR code that's cryptographically signed against your business key. Screenshots of someone else's card don't work. A QR scribbled on a napkin doesn't work. Even a customer's old, redeemed code from last week doesn't work. The scanner rejects anything that doesn't match.
