POS FAQ

Does the POS work offline?+

Yes. The app runs on a local database, so sales, cart, and customer lookups all keep working with no internet. Transactions queue and sync automatically the moment connectivity returns.

What hardware is the POS compatible with?+

Two hardware families: certified Android POS terminals and tablets — including SUNMI, PAX, Clover, iMin, and Elo — and Ubuntu / Linux x86 countertop stations (NRS-type all-in-ones), which run the same POS as an installed desktop app. Both work with standard ESC/POS receipt printers, USB/Bluetooth barcode scanners, cash drawers, and card readers such as Stripe Terminal and Dejavoo.

How does loyalty sync with my existing Loyalty iCard program?+

It's the same program. The POS talks to your Loyalty iCard account over the API, so points earned and redeemed at the register appear instantly in the customer's wallet card and your dashboard — no separate system to reconcile.

Is it suitable for restaurants and cafés?+

Yes. Item modifiers (milk swaps, add-ons), quick-tap categories, split payments, and a touch-optimized layout make it well suited to cafés and quick-service restaurants, as well as retail.

How is the app deployed to my devices?+

On Android, for multiple locations we deploy through managed Google Play and standard MDM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, SOTI), so devices enroll, configure, and update remotely. Ubuntu / Linux stations install a signed .deb or AppImage package. Single devices on either platform can also be set up manually.
